The darkest of Tom Ford’s Jardin Noir series, Café Noir uses its coffee note subtly, providing depth and even an animalic warmth to the usually ladylike rose. The luscious, indolic, civet-like richness of coffee accompanies the elegant rose note like a devil on an angel’s shoulder, adding darkness and danger, amplified by notes of woods and patchouli.
